Just in time for a mid-summer road comes Forecastle Festival in Louisville, Ky–just right down the road. This looks to be a great time for all, offering a killer line-up of bands, art (a regionally curated art exhibition), and environmental activism events and speakers, as well as an outdoor extreme sports park. This event features national artists, but is also heavy on regional acts, and includes talent such as De La Soul, The Features (fresh off their Nashville gig this past week), How I Became The Bomb, Particle, Girl Talk, Wax Fang, De Novo Dahl, The October, and Ghostfinger. The event takes place July 27th and 28th at the The Riverfront Belvedere in Louisville, and you can get more info at their site www.forcastlefest.com.
