]]> One of my absolute favorite venues is the Ryman auditorium, you just can’t beat it for the sound quality.  And the atmosphere…what can I say, it’s holy ground for any music lover as the people who have played on that stage are legendary (you know it was originally built as a church-it opened as the Union Gospel Tabernacle in 1892), and artists love to play the Ryman for both of those reasons. 

The Ryman has a series of bluegrass shows going right now, on Thursday nights, and for a mere $22.50, you can see some of the best bluegrass talent anywhere, at one of the best venues anywhere!!  The lineups for the next three dates are as follows:  July 12–Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver and Cherryholmes, July 19–Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder with Cadillac Sky, and July 26–Mountain Heart and The Grascals with Steep Canyon Rangers.  Rhonda Vincent & The Rage and Vince Gill have already been featured this summer.   Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, Kroger, Macy’s, the Ryman Box Office (615-889-3060), www.ryman.com, or 615-255-9600.  The Ryman address is 116 Fifth Avenue North, Nashville, TN  37219.
